Preparations

I have so much to do before I go next week (eek!) ...

Here are some of the things I've accomplished so far:
- Registered with the Embassy

(I had to take a break to cuddle with K after all that work).


Here are some things I need to still do:
- Figure out what I'm bringing
- Order a power converter
- Determine if I'm going to do any of the optional tours
- Buy a guidebook
- Buy snacks, medicines, and any extras that I need to bring
- Research and order tickets for things to do during my extra days
- Figure out how to pack what I need to bring into my two bags

One of the cool things that a friend of mine does is to re-create pics from previous vacations. With my love of photography, of course I think that is such a cool tradition. So I asked my friend (code name: "Four") if she had any and she shared a freaking ton of pictures from her travels to Italy with me (which got me SUPER excited btw!). The two I'm going to try to create are below -- these are from Florence.

I'm on the last week on my study this week (PRAISE BABY JESUS HALLELUJAH!!!!) so I think next weekend I will be much more inclined to focus on some of this stuff. However before Friday I have a TON to get done at work so if you don't hear from me ... that's why.
